GOD GAVE ME YOU – An EB Lenten Special

A little less than 3 months after we were treated to their first ever movie, My Bebe Love, our two love birds, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza gave their all in their first ever drama special as part of Eat Bulaga’s Lenten series, titled “God Gave Me You”.

ALDUB & MAICHARD – Crossroads

The past few days have been quite eventful.

So as not to confuse, let’s talk about ALDUB first – KS Alden and Divina. Both have steadily approached the point where their relationship is set to move to the next level. From admiration, to infatuation, to “getting-to-know-one-another-better”, to the courtship stage. Last February 11, KS Alden opened up to Divina, basically declaring his love for her through a beautifully-written poem:

What an episode, huh?

During the week-long run of the “AnseRa” flashback story, this episode proved to be the highlight, fittingly so on a Saturday, and on Bossing Vic and Pauleen’s very special, wedding day.

Of course, the KILIG moments are highly anticipated, and as always, EB, Alden and Maine DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

Not into psychology, but you just know that they are already in a different kind of level in terms of closeness. Sobrang comfortable na nila sa isa’t isa. You can see it in their words, and in their actions. Kung anong tipid nila when they were in the Alden-Yaya Dub characters, bumuhos naman ang holding hands at yakap moments nila as Anselmo and Nidora. Bilib din ako sa KS writers – they were able to give us audience what we want without compromise to the story line of the Alden and Yaya Dub. Galing.

ALDUB – Fandom with Purpose (It’s more than just “Kilig”)

I just have to write something about the KS episode today, January 21, 2016. If there was any episode that would symbolize Aldub,  Aldub Nation, and its profound impact, it was this episode. The FIRST, of hopefully, much more.

What I Love About You (ALDUB)

They say that this kind of loveteam comes once in a lifetime.

I agree.

I loved the partnership first and foremost. The single act of a facial expression of admiration on July 16, 2015 – raw, unplanned and honest. It was undeniable – she was into him. Maybe it was not the same time for Alden, but as the days passed, how can one not admire a young lady who, with all the wackiness and face distortions, still look beautiful and charming?

Hooked on ALDUB

As long as I can remember, I have not watched any noontime show (because of work) nor any local/international soap opera. I’m the type who follows SCI-FI series and comedy shows like the Big Bang Theory. I rarely watch any local shows or channels because I just don’t have the patience with long commercials.

Never too late

Here I am writing down my very first, serious blog – at the age of 48.

I never thought of writing to be one of my talents. I write memos and transmittal documents in the office but writing a blog? Never entered my mind.

Until ALDUB.

Because of ALDUB, I was encouraged to become active it Twitter, and it was here I came across a good writer – @huggable_me. She inspired me to start writing my own blogs – about everything and anything.

Let’s do this.
